What it does
A video, described.
Paste a YouTube link or upload your own video. AudioViz watches it, writes descriptions of the people, places and actions, and speaks them while the video’s own sound is lowered.
It remembers the characters of a series from one episode to the next, and you can name them your way.

Three steps.
AudioViz describes it.
Each scene is described in short sentences that fit between the lines people speak. It waits for the pauses instead of talking over a voice.
Listen and follow.
Press Play and listen. You can replay, skip or stop a description at any time.
Ask about this video
Ask about what you're watching.
AudioViz stays quiet while people are talking. That is how professional audio description works: the voices in the video come first. So when you want to know more about a moment, you can stop and ask.
Press Q, or say its name.
Press Q or the Ask button. You can also turn on starting by voice in Settings, then say “Hey AudioViz”, or the name you gave your assistant. The video pauses, and you ask out loud.
It takes another look.
Ask about the last minute, or a part that was never described, and AudioViz looks at that moment again. Ask about something earlier, and it answers from the descriptions it already made. You hear the answer out loud.
Pick up where you stopped.
Press Q again, or say you are done. Play carries on from the same spot. A conversation lasts up to 5 minutes, which keeps AudioViz affordable for everyone.
20 with every described hour.
Each question about the video counts as one. Your plan gives you 20 for every described hour, and each extra-hour pack adds 20 more. Questions never use your described hours.
Questions about you are free.
Ask how much time or how many questions you have left, about your plan, or about your History. Those answers never count.
Your questions are kept.
Your questions and answers are saved in History, where you can play an answer again or delete it. Nothing is saved while your History is paused.

Answers come from AI and are spoken by a computer voice. They can be wrong, so never rely on them for safety, medical, legal or emergency decisions.
