This note covers the Dakkak Labs company website, its contact form, optional website ratings, and display settings.
What the site collects
Messages, ratings, and spam prevention.
You can choose to use the contact form or send a website rating. These features process:
- Your name and email address when you send a contact message, so we can reply.
- Your message, and the topic and message type you pick.
- Your star rating, optional comment, the website page path, and the time the rating is received. Ratings do not ask for your name or email. Avoid putting personal information in comments.
- A Cloudflare Turnstile check to help prevent spam. Verification sends a verification token and your request IP address to Cloudflare. Our server also uses hashes of IP addresses, and email addresses for contact submissions, to limit repeated requests.
Display and accessibility preferences, including theme, text size, contrast, and motion choices, are saved in your browser's local storage on this device. After a rating is sent, its star value is also saved there to prevent repeat ratings in that browser. You can reset accessibility settings with the site's Reset to defaults control or remove these saved values by clearing this site's browser data.
How it is used and kept
To reply and improve the website.
Contact messages are sent to the studio through Resend, our email delivery provider. We also attempt to send you a confirmation email. Messages may remain in the studio's mailbox and email delivery systems after we reply. Ratings and optional comments are stored with the page path and receipt time to help us improve the website. Review records do not include an IP address or IP hash. Do not assume messages or ratings are automatically deleted after a reply. Separate spam-prevention records use hashed identifiers with an expiry time set 48 hours after a submission; expiry makes them eligible for deletion, which may happen later. We do not sell submissions or use them for advertising. To request deletion of a message or rating, email [email protected].
