AudioViz Terms of Use
The short version
- A personal plan is for you and the people watching with you, anywhere. No commercial use.
- An organization plan is for the organization's own people and its own work. Never for its customers, clients or the public.
- Nothing AudioViz makes may be sold, published, sent to others or used commercially without a separate written agreement with us.
- Breaking this can mean a suspended or closed account, and legal action.
- Upload only videos you have the right to use.
- Descriptions, and answers to your questions, are made by AI. They can be wrong.
- Cancel at any time; your plan runs to the end of the month you paid for.

Who may use AudioViz
You must be 13 or older. If you are under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission. Only adults can buy a plan. Keep your sign-in private; you are responsible for what happens in your account.
AudioViz is available in most countries. It is not yet available in the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, the United Kingdom or Switzerland: it is coming soon to Europe. It is also not available where the law does not allow us or our payment provider to sell.

Plans, the free trial and payment
- A new listener can try AudioViz free for 7 days, with 1 described hour. A card is taken at the start. If you cancel before the 7 days end, you pay nothing. Otherwise your plan starts and is charged. A new organization gets the same 7 days and 1 hour, once per owner.
- A plan gives a number of described hours each month, from your billing date. Unused hours do not carry over.
- A plan also gives 20 questions about your videos for every described hour, and each extra-hour pack adds 20 more. They renew with your hours, unused questions do not carry over, and questions never use described hours. Questions about your own account are free.
- Extra hours can be bought at any time. They last until your plan renews.
- Prices are shown before you buy. Paddle is our seller of record: it takes your payment, and Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to the purchase.
- Plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; the plan stays until the end of the period you paid for, and you are not charged again.
- Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

What you may do with what AudioViz makes
AudioViz makes descriptions, narration, transcripts and captions for your videos.
Personal use (personal plans). You may watch and listen yourself, anywhere, including with family or friends watching with you, and download your files (your video with or without its description, the description audio and the texts) for your own use only. Personal use is non-commercial: not for any business, paid or money-making purpose. You may not publish, upload, sell, broadcast or send any of it to anyone else, including on YouTube, social media, a website, a streaming service or television. To share AudioViz with someone, invite them to use it.
Inside use (organization plans). An organization's own staff, students or members may use it inside the organization, for the organization's own work, a company's included. An organization may also add AudioViz descriptions to its own videos, including on its own website or channel, to make them accessible. It may not sell them, offer them as a service to others, put them in a product, or use them on videos it does not own.
Commercial use and publishing. On every plan, you may not sell what AudioViz makes, publish or broadcast it, use it in advertising, or put it in a product or service for others. The one exception is an organization's own videos, as described above. Anything else is part of no plan. It needs a separate written agreement with Dakkak Labs, and is only possible for videos you own or have the rights to. Contact us.
An organization must use the organization plan. If an organization uses personal plans, we may move it to the organization plan, end the personal plans, and take legal action.
If these rules are broken. Using what AudioViz makes commercially, or outside what your plan allows, breaks this agreement. If we learn of it, for example from a report or by finding it published, we may suspend the account at once, ask in writing for the material to be removed, close the account without a refund for the current period, and take legal action, including claiming damages and asking a court to stop the use. We keep the records of a suspended account until the matter is settled.

- How we handle your information is in our Privacy Policy. An uploaded video file is deleted 30 days after upload.

AI descriptions and answers
Descriptions are written by AI and spoken by computer voices. They can miss things or be wrong. Do not rely on them for safety, medical, legal or emergency decisions.
Ask about this video. You can pause a video and ask about it out loud. The answers are written by AI and spoken by a computer voice, and they can be wrong too. Each question about a video counts as one of your plan's questions as soon as you ask it, even if you stop before the answer; a question that fails on our side is given back. Questions about your own account, such as your time or questions left, never count. You can ask up to 6 questions a minute, and one conversation lasts up to 2 minutes.
