About · The studio

Made to be used by everyone.

An independent studio — games, apps, and accessibility, all under one roof.

The founder

Mohamed Dakkak.

I’m the founder. I’m legally blind, originally from Syria and now based in the US — a CIS student, a gamer, and a developer. I build and read every screen by voice, every day.

Every app, game, and tool I tried locked me out — buttons my screen reader couldn’t name, animations that wouldn’t stop. So I started building what I needed myself: software that doesn’t rush you, games anyone in the room can join, and accessibility that’s there from the first sketch — not bolted on at the end.

And I’ll be honest about the goal: build apps that genuinely help and that anyone can use — older people and people with disabilities included — and turn that into a real, sustainable business. Accessibility isn’t a favour or an afterthought here; it’s the point. I’m here to keep learning, and to make a living doing work I’m proud of.

The mark

One shape, four meanings.

It’s a letter D, drawn like it’s leaning forward. To a gamer it’s a play button. To a developer, a cursor. To someone using a screen reader, a focus arrow. And it’s the D on the studio’s door.

One mark, three products.

They all carry the same symbol — same family. The shape stays the same; the colour is how you tell them apart, and what each one is for.
